Cam Schubert
General Manager - Kanmantoo Copper Mines
Cam joined Hillgrove in January 2010 and is in charge of the Kanmantoo Copper Mine. He lead the expansion of Hillgrove's team as the project's tempo increased through construction and moved into mining and production. Previously Cam was the Mine Operations Development Manager for BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam Expansion Project from 2007 to 2009. A significant portion of his career was spent at Xstrata's Ernest Henry open-cut copper/gold mine in North Queensland, which produces approximately 115,000tpa of copper in concentrate, initially as a Geotechnical Engineer and leading to Site Senior Executive & General Manager, a position he held from 2004 to 2007. Previous to this he worked on several projects with MIM Holdings, including Mount Isa Mines, Tick Hill Gold Mine and Carpentaria Gold.
Catherine Davis
Environmental Manager
Catherine started at Hillgrove in June 2008 having arrived from the Victorian coal fields and power generation and prior to that hard rock mining in NSW, TAS and WA. Previous projects include Goldfields Henty Gold Mine where the headframe is inside the mountain (underground) to preserve the World Heritage status of the National Park. Peak Gold Mines, with Rio Tinto, which saw the development of both greenfield and brownfield sites. Whilst at TRUenergy, part of CLP, one of the largest earthmoving exercises in Victoria was undertaken with the diversion of the Morwell River through a coal pit where it had originally flowed 100 years ago. Catherine's experience extends from permitting and approval stages (including consultation with stakeholders) through to the development of environmental management systems and mine closure/rehabilitation.
ALAN DAY
MINE TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Alan joined the Hillgrove team in August 2011 as Technical Services Manager at Kanmantoo. With more than 20 years of experience in mining, Alan has come to Hillgrove from Perilya’s Lead-Zinc Mine as Geotechnical Superintendent. Prior to Perilya, Alan was Senior Geotechnical Engineer for Rio Tinto at their Tom Price Iron Ore Mine. Alan’s spent the first 16 years of his mining career in South Africa where he worked on a gold mine and several platinum mines, initially as a Geologist until he became the Divisional Rock Mechanics Manager.
PETER HEDGER
COMMERCIAL MANAGER
Peter started with Hillgrove in October 2011 having come from the Challenger Gold Mine, north-west of Adelaide, where he was an Administration Manager. While at Challenger, Peter was responsible for all facets of accounting, finance, procurement, stores, contracts management, camp maintenance and rostering. Prior to Challenger Gold Mine, Peter held contract positions in mining and viticulture after returning to Australia permanently. Peter has held various positions within the mining industry for the last 18 years, working with large mining corporations including overseas experience with CD Capital in London as a Senior Mining Analyst.

EXPLORATION MANAGER
Pat started with Hillgrove in February 2011 with over 17 years’ experience in mining exploration. Prior to his new position at Hillgrove, Pat was Country Manager in the Solomon Islands for Pacific Porphyry (SI) Limited, which saw him develop exploration models and corporate strategies for porphyry copper-gold and gold-silver mineralisation. Pat has had experience in a wide range of commodities and mineralisation styles having held senior exploration positions in Western Australia, Latin America and Tanzania.
ERRYN MUNCHENBERG
HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
Erryn Munchenberg commenced in October 2011 as the Health & Safety Manager. Erryn comes to Hillgrove with previous HSE management experience in a range of diverse industries including public transport, engineering and construction, cement and automotive manufacturing, and mining in SA, WA and NT. In her previous position with the Australian Industry Group, Erryn was consulting to a range of businesses, including conducting the legislative compliance and safety management systems audits for us at Kanmantoo. Erryn will be building the Kanmantoo Safety Systems with her team, but in parallel, working with all levels of employees to provide support and guidance in Health and Safety to create a great safety culture.
GLENN NORRIS
PROCESSING MANAGER
Glenn joined Hillgrove in July 2011 having only very recently moved back to Australia after spending the last two and a half years working in Canada for Barrick Gold as Mill Manager at the Hemlo Gold Mine. Glenn’s previous position in Australia was Mill Superintendent at the Pillara Lead-Zinc Mine in Western Australia. Glenn was part of the commissioning and operating of that plant, which is now being reconstructed at Kanmantoo. Prior to this Glenn has held a variety of metallurgy positons at BHP at Olympic Dam (SA) and Xstrata at Mount Isa Mines (Qld).
Lachlan Wallace
Mine Manager
Lachlan joined Hillgrove in February 2012 as the Kanmantoo Mine Manager. Lachlan was most recently the Group Mining Manager with Stemcor Europe AG, working in Switzerland, India and Australia where his role primarily involved the review and evaluation of operations and deposits for acquisition, equity and offtake in addition to adding value to existing operations through technical and operational direction, optimisation and strategy. Prior to this Lachlan was a Senior Consultant – Mining with Coffey Mining (RSG Global) in South Africa and Australia, and the Mine Superintendent at Australian Bulk Minerals – Savage River Iron Ore Mine in Tasmania.
KANMANTOO COPPER MINE
The Project is an open-cut mine with initial throughput of 2.4Mt pa, producing approximately 80,000t of concentrate, containing about 20,000t of copper metal and 10,000oz of gold with exploration potential for further copper-gold mineralisation.
