This year the Kanmantoo Copper Mines Project will see the relocation and construction of the Pillara Plant and buildings from Western Australia. This major exercise will be undertaken by Abesque Engineering, who most recently undertook a similar role for Terramin at the Angus Project in near-by Strathalbyn. Mining will then start late in the year with production slated for the second quarter of 2011. The mining and transport function will be contracted out to Exact Mining who are specialists in this field.

Hillgrove itself has many of our senior staff and some process operators (who are currently working on the oxide ore) in place and will gradually recruit a number of other positions as the project moves through construction to the operations stage. All positions will be posted below and advertised on SEEK, in the Mt Barker Courier or the Adelaide Advertiser depending on the role. We will be looking for the best available person for each position as being a small operation we do not have a training capability at this stage in our development.

It is not a fly in/fly out operation with staff required to live within commuting distance, so we are in a good position to support the region and local residents who are suitably qualified. Graduate/Vocational/Apprentice Programs

We are not in a position to do so as yet, but it is Hillgrove's wish to support the training and development of local students who wish to enter the mining industry. Once the Project is in production it is our aim to offer graduate and vocational roles to a limited number of individuals studying in the area. Applicants will be evaluated according to their job related skills, qualifications, abilities and aptitudes

As a precursor, graduate students from Adelaide Universities are encouraged to submit expressions of interest regarding research projects. Each application will be reviewed case by case for availability, merit and relevance to the Project.
