The Kanmantoo Mine Project has completed its feasibility phase and is currently arranging Government licensing and finance before we start construction of the plant, and production in 2011. Minimal exploration work continues with geology staff overseeing drilling activities on site, ably assisted by our team of field assistants.

Some senior positions have been filled during this interim period and once the project achieves these final hurdles we anticipate further staff will be required as we move through construction to the mining stage and production.

Our Kanmantoo Project Newsletter provides regular updates on progress, but a significant change in the current employment programme is not expected until next year.

In an effort to support the region local residents who are suitably qualified will be given priority for positions wherever possible.  If you live near the project area and have some mining experience you can register your interest by emailing a letter and resume through, otherwise positions will be advertised to ensure as many local people as possible have the opportunity to gain employment at the site.

Graduate/Vocational/Apprentice Programs

We are not in a position to do so as yet, but it is our wish for Hillgrove to support the training and development of local students who wish to enter the mining industry. Once the Project is in production it is our aim to offer graduate, vocational and apprenticeship roles to a limited number of individuals studying in the area. Applicants will be evaluated according to their job related skills, qualifications, abilities and aptitudes.

As a precursor, graduate students from Adelaide Universities are encouraged to submit expressions of interest regarding research projects. Each application will be reviewed case by case for availability, merit and relevance to the Project.
